WIREGRASS WOMEN FOR STEM

Here we don’t try to make anyone feel like they can’t do something based on untrue stereotypes! We want to push STEM jobs, programs, and opportunities to women. Here women can be supported and encouraged to pursue the STEM field without being held back by stereotypes or bias!

One of the huge challenges women in this field face is lack of community. So here we make it one of our biggest priority’s to be an organization that brings together women in STEM. Although the lack of community can be frustrating, it doesn’t mean we can’t make our own! 

We make sure to share as much information and experience as possible on this page! We want everyone to see the awesome things going on in STEM easily as well as share experience of our own and other women in stem here!

One of our main goals is to make sure no girl feels as if they have no opportunties to get involved or do something with STEM. That’s why we post STEM opportunities on our page. This way it’s easy for girls to find and participate in if they want too!
